 Liability

Hirer will be liable for the above liability for any loss and damage to the rented vehicle.  However, accepting CDW may reduce the liability to Minimum shown in the Non-available Excess column. The hirer is obliged to promptly report any accident, theft or vandalism involving the vehicle to Sanctuary Borneo Travel Agency Sdn Bhd office and the nearest police station within 24 hours. A valid police report is required.  Failure to comply with the above may void all liability protection.  CDW does not cover the following:-

Damage to any parts of the vehicle including dents and scratches not caused as a result of accident but the negligence of the hirer / additional driver.

Loss or damage to accessories aside from normal wear and tear.

Delivery And Collection

Delivery and collection charges vary with distance. Free delivery and collection within KOTA KINABALU. Please check with our staff upon booking. Discounts for corporate booking are available.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Rates
Daily rental rates cover a full 24 hours with unlimited mileage. Rates include maintenance and engine oil but petrol is excluded. Excess hours are calculated at 1/6 of the daily rental rates. Rental rates are subject to 10% service charge and 5% Government tax.

Insurance
The rental will be responsible for the full cost of the damage if the vehicle is driven in violation of the rental agreement, is abused or driven recklessly or while under the influence or alcohol or drugs. First RM2’500 for saloon and RM3’000 to 4’000 for 4WD not available, windscreen and riot not covered. All saloon cars are strictly forbidden from being driver on gravel, unpaved roads or outside Kota Kinabalu or interstate.

Excludes Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

Payment
Charges through MasterCard and Visa Card are welcomes.

Cash Payment

All rentals are to prepaid plus a deposit as required

Petrol & Traffic Related Offences
Petrol is not included in our rates. The hirer will also be responsible for any summons or fines issued by the Malaysian Traffic Police. Road Transport Department or local municipal authorities.

Driver's Requirements
The driver must be between 23 and 65 years of age and in possession of a current local or valid overseas international license with qualified driving experience of at least two (2) years. driver must be in possession of current local of valid intern ion driving license or Malaysia Driver license.

Extension of Rental
Should the renter wish to extend the rental, it is most important that the renting station be advised immediately and the required additional amount be paid so that the insurance coverage is extended. Failure to do so may mean the hirer is driving the vehicle without insurance.

CHAUFFEUR-DRIVER

Chauffeur service are available based on daily hours of 0800-1600. Excess hours are charged accordingly as shown on schedule overleaf. Food and lodging of the chauffeur will be borne by the rental. Chauffeur driver rates include petrol, insurance, and all maintenance charges, parking fee and chauffeur service.
